HoEAG committee

Meet the team – members of the Heart of England Alpaca Group would be delighted to help you with your enquiry.

Sue Keen

I have come full circle having grown up on a Norfolk farm, moved to London, New York and Los Angeles producing TV commercials before returning to Norfolk. Jacob and I discovered alpacas in New Zealand.

Wayne Jones

Started life as a toolmaker, salesman, driving instructor and progressed to a teacher for many years before taking ‘early retirement’ at 50 to be a fibre farmer, Alpaca shearer and artisan.
My life in the alpaca world is to follow my passion for animal welfare.

Julia Corrigan-Stuart

I first got 3 alpacas in 2008 and now have around 100 settled in the heart of Buckinghamshire. Being active in the alpaca world, I have gained a wealth of knowledge which has led me to be heavily involved in the running of both of the Group’s Shows.

Janet Ireland

I moved from Buckinghamshire to glorious Shropshire in 2008 with my Husband, Paul and we got our first alpacas.  All animal welfare is very important to me and I’m Heart of England Alpaca Group Welfare Rep and on the British Alpaca Society Welfare Committee.

Jacob Keen

I first got alpacas 6 years ago and ever since have been sucked in to the whole alpaca world! Now I study at the Royal Veterinary College one day to be an alpaca vet!
